What's so unreasonable about wanting to kill some Mafia before we decide about the survivor role? And how is voting the guy who voted Shadi while openly defending him NOT getting involved? Now, back to the matter at hand. We're down three rather important townies. I don't find it unreasonable that he can win with the village, but I honestly don't care at the moment; the fact remains that the score is heavily tilted towards the mafia and I want to settle it.

Again, I'm smelling mafia ass-covering. Look, we KNOW Shadi's not a villager. (If he was, he wouldn't have needed to claim survivor.)

If he's telling the truth, it's no big loss to the village since neutrals don't count for parity and he hasn't claimed any useful powers.

If he's lying then he's anti-town (hostile or town), and it's a net gain to the town.

Either way (as I've stated before), lynching Shadi is our best bet. Its benefits far outweigh its risks.

HATER is somewhat right, Rain. Let him lynch me, it's better to lose a third party player than a townie as we don't have any leads on mafia (seen from a townie PoV). If he's so steadfast on doing it I'm not going to stop him. I, too, expected HATER to think a little further but it ain't the case.

I mean, come on! When you're survivor, your SOLE WINCON is to reach the end of the game, and you've resigned yourself to die on the R1 lynch (arguably the easiest kind of lynch to squirm out of)?

This does no make sense. Any survivor in your position would be fighting tooth and claw to get out of that shit. After all, as survivor, if you die you lose completely. There's no teammates to help you reach wincon after you're dead.

No, it's to make you realise how faulty your suspicions were. The earlier the merrier. I realised with your mental capability you'd use me for something or make me do stuff at the very least.

What would we use a survivor with no abilities for?

We can't use him to detect mafia, because the survivor can easily sell out the mafia (if they're stupid enough to claim to him) in exchange for doc protection. Easy win for town and survivor.

We'll see how faulty my suspicions are after your role is revealed. Also, should shadi be revealed as mafia, Rainboy should be your next lynch target (just throwing that out there in case I'm nightkilled tonight).

You cannot deny that good lies sound/are closer to the truth as well. A good lie is easier told when it's close to the truth.

I do deny that. 99% of the time it's never a good idea to claim mafia, whether to a third party or not.

Even if you're not hostile, you're useless to us.

While you two argue about why/wynaut we should keep the survivor who, being victory-sharing, couldn't care less about who wins (as far as his role is concerned). He's just voting to vote. Granted, there's not much harm in keeping him alive, but an extra vote on an innocent town could turn the game.

You know, by that logic, we should just spam no lynch for the rest of the game. We certainly wouldn't lynch a townie that way.

The point here is not to save townies, it's to LYNCH THE MAFIA. And voting a survivor doesn't accomplish that goal in the least. I know Shadi pretty well; I really doubt this is a story he'd come up with as a survivor who wins alone. Either he's mafia or a team survivor, and I'm far from ready to write him off as mafia.

We shall indeed. The score last game (on our forums) was Rainboy 2, Hater 0. You ended up getting me killed there, too. Like I said earlier, you've lost your touch. Sober up and start helping the town before I start lynching you.

Where did I say we shouldn't lunch anyone? I'm saying that, since we know only one guy who has a role that could end up hurting the town, we need to get rid of that. Then, we are (well at least I am) back to having no idea of any town-hurting role-holders.

I was merely adopting your policy of saving townies. You said back there that you voted Shadi because he wasn't a townie. Your focus is obviously saving townies, which is a flawed focus in this game. If the first priority was to no lynch townies, then the obvious course of action is to vote no lynch unless you're 100% sure a guy isn't a townie.

I don't know about you, but I'm 90% sure Shadi isn't a direct threat to us. I am far less sure about any of you.

Just leave your skype here and we will add you to our own contact lists. You won't be added to the Mafia Chat (we are avoiding mafia discussion there anyway), but can still PM anyone that way.

I left mine and only one that I didn't directly ask to add me and who did was "Vriska". I have Stalin too but I PMd him for that.

I don't see why Rainboy thinks HATER claims are unreasonable, what did
you and Shadi expect out of day one roleclaims when none of you were in
danger of being lynched? The only times those happened in our forums
were when unskilled mafiosos tried to set an early game advantage, and
your absolute trust in Shadi's word is weird.

But, if we should
lynch Rain/Shadi or not is a whole other matter. I get it, if one is
mafia the other probably is too, if we take the risk and lynch one and
find out he's mafia, we get two. Remember one thing though: the mafia
has the advantage when you consider last night deaths and they will
eventually have to waste a night kill on Shadi in case he really is a
Survivor, or they will risk dropping their victory in case he is the
victory-stealing type.

So I believe keeping Shadi and Rainboy
alive for now is a good move. We can simply lynch one of them if the
game is getting near the end and we didn't find mafiosi yet, and if
Shadi gets lynched and is indeed a Survivor, we lynched someone that the
mafia would be forced to night kill.

Shadi at the moment is a safe vote.
Any mafite could come in and say "I'm just trying to take out the survivor."
And it'd be a good buy in.

We're just in culture shock at the moment. On our forums, it's quite common for nearly everyone to privately claim to eachother in a given game. Half or more of them are made up, but they're still made.

As for Shadi, I know how to read him pretty well. I'm staking my life on him telling the truth here, and I think it's a pretty safe bet from my vantage point. If you do actually lynch/kill him and he flips mafia, I certainly wouldn't blame you for lynching me afterwards. But I'm pretty sure he's not, and he's one of only three connections I have with all you guys. I'd really rather not burn bridges unless we have something more than "well, he might be a survivor who can't win with us..."

I believe that one of the three new guys is lying through their teeth, but I'm not sure which one.
