i asked Phoenix by PM to vote for Nyu and help me. Again, not that I had anything personal against him

he technically did help but NOT IN THE FRIGGIN WAY I ASKED FOR.
At this point I don't even care if those two are mafia

No behind the scenes shenanigans forcing a tie today. Story will be up as soon as I'm done.

What had began as a normal day of voting quickly had turned hectic as the day started to come to a close. Both in the real world and the Undernet, there were those that argued amongst themselves and those that were changing their votes to either save someone, spite someone or just because they just plain felt like it.

"Enough! The day has almost come to a close. So why is it that there is a three way tie?"

Everyone tried to settle between Alpar, Nyu and Phoenix as the last few minutes began to clock down.

"I hate ties! I’ll settle this by voting for Nyu!"

And that settled it, no more voting activity was then seen and it was time to reveal who was it that got voted off.

"Very well. It is clear now that Nyu shall be the one to be lynched today…or shall I call him, ShadeMan?"

Unfortunately, it seemed Nyu had disappeared from the scene while everyone else had been distracted with their bickering.

"He couldn’t have gotten far! Let’s find him!"

MegaMan and the other Navis scrambled and had spread out to find the Darkloid that had escaped from them. MegaMan was determined to find him after all the trouble he had caused on the Net, and he had been the reason he had joined this game in the first place.

Meanwhile…

"I refuse to waste away into zeros and ones! And I won’t let myself be deleted by them!"

ShadeMan was eagerly making his getaway, trying to escape from the Undernet and feed upon the first Navi his eyes laid upon once he was out.

"That’s far enough, ShadeMan. You‘re under arrest. Surrender or face deletion."

A red Navi with flowing silver hair stood in front of the escaping Darkloid. ProtoMan.

"You! You’re in my way again! You’re just like that blasted MegaMan!"

In his desperation, ShadeMan leapt towards the ProtoMan before several shots from a third party hit him and caused him damage. Some distance away, SearchMan continued to hold his weapon ready to fire again, having tracked down where ShadeMan had gone.

"No! No…heehee…WHEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

While ShadeMan was distracted by his moment of insanity, ProtoMan decided to cut down the Darkloid with his blade. The attack connected and ShadeMan was once again deleted. Meanwhile a certain Underking had watched everything unfold, forcing ShadeMan to once again become vulnerable before leaving to return to his game.

Later that day....

"So what now?"

Lan and MegaMan both pondered this question now that their target had been deleted, by ProtoMan no less. Was there any point in staying in the game now?

"As I said to you both, you would find the one you were searching for, and more."

Yes, the both recalled that but that still didn’t help shine any light on what that last part meant.

"I see you are confused. Very well, I shall give you a hint. Those who were chosen to be a part of the mafia are powerful beings from your past struggles. To give up now would be to allow the cyber and human worlds to fall into peril. Is that what you desire?"

Seeing no choice, MegaMan and Lan continued to be a part of this crazy game and see it through to the end. But just now long would their lucky streak last?

A certain scientist had slammed his fist down upon the desk after his recent failure. He had thrown all sorts of viruses from all over the Net, but somehow that Navi with the giant fists had deleted them all!

"Hmm, perhaps I was thinking too small. I should have expected any friend of MegaMan to have much experience against mere viruses."

He may have failed in his mission this time but there were other plans he could try in the near future.
