Unlikely. Pretty sure that's a built-in iftopic feature. I've been pondering the amount of work involved in making a Greasemonkey script to do it. It'd be a pretty big undertaking, actually.

What I CAN do, however, is tell you of this nifty Firefox addon, bbcodeXtra, which lets you instantly use bbcode, html and xhtml commands from the right-click menu when typing. It even lets you use stuff in your clipboard (like Image URL's and stuff).

It also lets you create custom tags, so you could do stuff like this
