It's your own damn fault, Scept. You should have read my accusation before jumping to defensive conclusions.

Huh, the 2 sure fire townies are down.
That said Scept, I don't think town blew it by lynching you. You blew it for the town by voting for Cael. :/ You wouldn't have been town's sure fire lynch otherwise. (they'd have most likely lynched Link or Gamage instead).

Wait, poison? Is that why the mafia didn't kill the night before? At any rate, we're in huge trouble. One wrong move and we're dead. The only reasonable assumption is Lucid is innocent. My number one suspect at the moment is Gam so [vote Gam]. I hope I'm right.

Re: Round 72: Dragon-Blooded Mafia
Honestly the town needs to start realising that just because someone doesn't read something doesn't mean they're suspicious. You should be filling them in. But that requires being proactive and nobody wants to be proactive now do they. I'm guilty of this at too at the moment.
Link you always suspect me and you're always wrong. Like I've said before, it would bother me less if you had a reason. Being quiet is hardly a good reason seeing as how I'm always quiet. As for the poison, that's most likely me, unless someone else has poison powers. (I-It's not like I can control it b-baka!)

Re: Round 72: Dragon-Blooded Mafia
Actually, you're number 1 because I feel like Aboi wouldn't have voted Geno early day 2 if Geno was mafia. I mean, it could be a ruse to distance Aboi and Geno but I find that unlikely since it could easily have backfired had I voted Geno instead of Lucid. But with you, there's nothing to suggest whether you're mafia or not. So you just seem more likely in comparison.
Although, if Geno was mafia and it was a ruse, Geno's vote on Aboi could also be seen as such, especially since it posed no threat to Aboi. It might explain why Aboi didn't vote when it was a tie between Geno and Zink.....and why Geno pushed for a no lynch.
Also, I'm guessing from your post that poison is your anima? That sounds like it'd be a mafia thing but looking at Aboi and Zink's roles, they share animas with some townies so I'll willing to bet there's at least one other person with that anima.
Hmmm......fine, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and [vote Geno] instead. You better not be mafia.

Oh shit. I missed out on some things over the past day.
Alright, voting with the oldies seems to be a good plan of action so far, so I'm gonna hope that my [vote Geno] doesn't screw us over. The both of you seem trustworthy enough. Anything to avenge Cloak.

Re: Round 72: Dragon-Blooded Mafia
Jesus, how did THREE PEOPLE die??? I've never seen something go so horrifically wrong so quickly. Considering that I'm being put up to the block, I believe it is time for my role to be revealed:
My Anima Power is a 10% chance of hiding from a night action.
My charm a High-percentage PI type power. It's base was a 60% chance to work, and it would be increased based on if the target attacked/killed somebody up to 85%.
Link, I trust you. You've helped the downfall of two of the mafias. I've been hiding my role all game and investigating people. Now that I've dropped the bomb that I'm a PI, I won't be seeing the light of tomorrow's day even if you don't lynch me. I've investigated you and saw that you're a townie, but I never tried gam nor lucid. As for explaining the reason behind my stupid actions... well, it was to make me look harmless while I quietly investigated during the night... Although I never ended up finding a single mafia...
I'm choosing to [vote gam] because I believe that the source of no killing might have simply been from afk people. I doubt lucid would take advantage of it (though, there is a good chance that I am wrong), I know gam is experienced enough to pull a powerful ruse like that.
I'm not even 100% sure that you're a townie Link, but I gotta go with it now, cos I'm at the block and you're the only one I have somewhat evidence to be a townie. There is going to be a lynching and then a killing tonight, and if the lynched isn't mafia, they're taking the victory.

Hmmmm...poop. I want to believe you, but apparently the townies and mafia share some similar powers. On the other hand, why would a mafia have a PI (I'm assuming that means Private Investigator) power?
All my powers were based around avoiding detection and enemy charms, with 50%, 100% with a recharge, and type-based evasion. I think I'll change my mind then, because I am much to malleable online. [vote Link]

Re: Round 72: Dragon-Blooded Mafia
Geno was lynched.
Lucidity was a victim of DBs' shitty defense Charms.
Gam lost by default.
[kill Geno]
[kill Lucidity]
[kill Gam]
Which leaves our sole survivor, Link.
- Spoiler:
- Dear Geno,
You are Iselsi Vannu, a Water-Aspected Dragon-Blood of the Realm.
Anima Power – 10% chance of hiding from a night effect
[Scent-of-Crime Method]
This simple Charm allows you to assess the personality and guilt of a subject. When investigating someone with this Charm, you have a 60% chance of accurately determining their loyalties. If their last action was to attack someone, you have an extra 10% chance of detecting them as mafia. If their last action was to kill someone, you have an extra 25% chance instead.
You win when the mafia are eliminated.
You have learned a new Charm!
[Bloodhound's Nose Technique]
The Dragon-Blooded are relentless as the ocean surf as it pounds upon the coast. Every night, you investigate any night kills and have a 10% chance of knowing two people who might have done it, a 10% chance of knowing three people who might have done it, a 20% chance of knowing four people, and a 60% chance of getting no result.
Lucidity was a victim of DBs' shitty defense Charms.
- Spoiler:
- Dear Lucidity,
You are Ledaal Dara, an Air-Aspected Dragon-Blood of the Realm. You actually have a twin along, with which you may freely communicate, and whom you can completely trust: Cloak.
Anima Power – 10% chance of using a Charm before someone else in a speed tie
[Soundless Action Prana]
The wind is quiet, carrying the leaf along above the heads of even the most vigilant watchman. You may go undetected for a night, granting you a 50% chance to evade any effect.
You win when the mafia are eliminated.
You have learned a new Charm!
[Dragon Shroud Technique]
This Charm grants you near-perfect invisibility, shielding you from any night effect. However, supernatural tracking Charms negate this ability. In addition, it is expensive to maintain with willpower... you can use it one night and recharge for a night, or use it two nights consecutively and recharge for two nights.
You have learned a new Charm!
[Air Defense Technique]
Any and all Fire-aspect, Water-aspect, and Air-aspects that attempt to affect you are nullified completely, despite any effects they may have. Wood and Earth aspects can still affect you due to their grounded nature.
Gam lost by default.
- Spoiler:
- Dear Gam,
You are V'neef Mariv, a Wood-Aspected Dragon-Blood of the Realm.
Anima Power – 10% chance of poisoning someone you come into contact with at night
[Orgiastic Fugitive Form]
You have learned to weaponize your hedonistic habits through the Orgiastic Fugitive style of supernatural martial arts. For every night, you gain a level of intoxication. When targeted by a hostile effect, each level of intoxication grants you a 20% bonus to evade the effect OR a 10% bonus to counter the effect, possibly killing your assailant. You must make this choice each night, whether targeted or not.
You win when the mafia are eliminated.
You have learned a new Charm!
[Unhealthy Miasma Stance]
You have mastered the art of weaponizing your intoxication. On a given night, when countering an attack, you may also elect to turn each of your intoxication levels into a NEGATIVE 10% chance for anyone attempting to attack or affect you. This goes towards the counter, though you still gain a bonus for every intoxication level you had before you spent them.
[kill Geno]
[kill Lucidity]
[kill Gam]
Which leaves our sole survivor, Link.
- Spoiler:
- Dear Link Lab,
You are Crimson Blossom, a Wood-Aspected Dragon-Blood of the Threshold.
Anima Power – 10% chance of poisoning someone you come into contact with at night
[Poisoned Tongue Technique]
The Dragon-Blooded society has always been one of suspicion and intrigue. You have learned to use this to your advantage, convincing people that their friends are enemies and vice versa. You have a 75% chance of reflexively changing one target's vote during the night phase, before votes are actually calculated. This Charm does not make contact.
You win when you and your allies (Zink120 and Aboithagameboi) outnumber the town.
You have learned a new Charm!
[Voices on the Wind]
A single leaf floating on the wind can carry great meaning to a person and mean nothing to another. You can eavesdrop on one person, hearing their voice during the night, and you have a 50% chance to read any actions they send to the DM that night.
You have learned a new Charm!
[With One Mind]
Any actions which reveal information to the user are revealed to the Dragon-Blooded who uses this Charm. This Charm is a one-time use, and has a cumulative 40% chance to cease functioning after its first use.

Pattern Spider Award: Link
He had a wonderful start, then lost both of his buddies in a row. He thought he'd messed up when French didn't die, but he proceeded to overwhelm the town with a triple kill and a well-executed final day... including a lucky break with Lucidity's aspect (Fire, Earth, or Wood aspects would be unkillable with their Defense Techniques)
Not-So-Perfect Defense Award: French
Despite being the only person to tank a night kill, he unfortunately succumbed to the poison anima.
Stoned Out of His Mind Award: Gam
His inactivity not only raised suspicion, but pretty much cost the town the game.
Perception 1 Award: Scept
Seriously, dude. Check your sources.

Well played to Mafia I guess, though I'm surprised we even did this well given the amount of probability based roles in this game. Felt weaker than a vanilla town. Were it not for the strange Zink/Aboi plays, Mafia may have gotten a flawless victory. :P Thanks for the game Draco.

Re: Round 72: Dragon-Blooded Mafia
You say that but my last victory was with you in Jet Set Radio (and I died just before we won). Since last June I've been in 4.5 winning mafias with 10 games played as mafia. Also, I think this is the first time I've been the last mafia standing and won (it certainly is the first on this forum). Of course, I did have a very good role (some might even say an OP role). Shame the power failed when Zink's life was on the line (He only had a 1/8 chance to die while French had 3/8 and Geno had 1/2).Tael wrote:in related news, link is mafia, takes victory, again

And I was gonna lynch Link too, if Scept hadn't voted for me even after everyone told him I was guaranteed innocent. "Oh, sorry I didn't read" doesn't come off as convincing if you don't change your opinion in light of the new information.
Also, that Wood anima power seems a might bit too powerful, expecially when it essentially negates bulletproof

If I might offer some general advise that I've been itching to say since I started watching this game:
Chance negates skill. The more chance there is in the game, the more it can work against the skill of the players. The first thing I do when I create a game is work to eliminate as much chance from it as I can. I'd rather have my players dictate what happens in the game, not random.org.
Not at all intended as an insult or anything. Just sharing my thoughts as a fellow host.

Re: Round 72: Dragon-Blooded Mafia
Yeah the RNG element just makes the game somewhat pointless as all the info you have is probably wrong. Either make my bulletproof or don't. But 10%? Statistically speaking I may as well have been vanilla (though the odds definitely worked in my favour this game). Plus the new abilities gained by probability were again, heavily RNG dependent.
I just think that had Mafia just played it cool and not switched their votes awkwardly in R3, town had NO concrete way of determining who was Mafia, and would have had to blind-vote their way to victory. The game is already hard enough with a blind roleset, but making everything RNG based makes shit a lot harder.
Gotta admit, I'm not even a fan of RNG for determining roles. It leads to people like Zink and Link to end up with the same role over and over.
