With the Grisaia no Kajitsu English patch nearing completion, I thought it was a good idea to show the OP for it. One of the character designers for the VN was also in charge of the character design in SHAFT's Monogatari series, so you might see someone who looks a bit like Senjougahara Hitagi.

There's only one route released, but it's decently long. I really like the setting and theme of this one. Oddly enough, the company actually enforces their copyrights, so I can't find a lot of OST uploads from their works on YouTube.

Best girl: Shion.
Best "girl": Mizuho.
Best girl without a route: Michiko.
Worst girl: STAY TUNED. (Hint: it's either gonna be Mariya or Yukari)
Times cried so far: 4.
Gayest girls, funny: Michiko & Kei.
Gayest girls, heart-wrenching: Ichiko & Mizuho's mom.

Thing you should definitely not do: Play Ichiko's route first.

Grisaia no Kajitsu's primary editing has been completed. The secondary editing is the only thing left to wait on. In anticipation, here's the OST for it. It's pretty nice.

It's been out for a while, but the Grisaia no Kajitsu English patch has been released. Of course, if you were in one of the Skype chats you would know that because it was the only thing I was talking about for a while.

Grisaia no Kajitsu is the first of the Grisaia trilogy, followed by Grisaia no Meikyuu and Grisaia no Rakuen. It's widely popular in Japan, enough to get an anime greenlit for it.

So far from what I've read, it certainly lives up to its reputation. I would definitely put it up there as one of the best visual novels I've read so far, and the translation is just superb. I definitely recommend it to anyone interested, just be wary of the NSFW content, because it might jump at you without warning, and then you might have to explain a few things to your nearby friends and relatives.

Well, I made it to the Ilias Kreuz introduction.

Had to drop the difficulty from hard to normal because Ashunera still likes following the RNG in every game I play to this day.

Gods I hope this picks up soon, which it hopefully will with some newly introduced elements and points in the story. I don't hate it at all so far, I'm just kind of bored.

You have ten seconds to justify not finishing one of the greatest written stories ever presented not just for the Nintendo DS, but for gaming as an entirety.

EDIT: By the way, I forgot to mention something important.

Ghost Trick is the ultimate proof you can't judge a book by its cover; meaning you can't judge something simply because of some writing elements that are normally terrible.
This game had both time travel and amnesia as huge plot points from the VERY beginning, and they both worked so fantastically that words just can't do it justice. I think Ghost Trick now presents my favorite all time story.

Other great examples of this game's excellent writing are placed in the supernatural, mystery, "twists you would never have seen coming in a million years that have had perfectly substantial buildup" and "the badguy isn't really the badguy" departments.
