Can't find the hiatus thread or whatever so this'll have to do. I'm in my new apartment with no internet and only my laptop, 360, and Wii for company. Don't know when my roommate is going to get Comcast here to install internet. Weeeeeeee.

Some dipshit on Youtube pissed me off not to long ago. I try to explain to him how things are not sucked into a vacuum, but blown into them. I cite Newton's third law, provide a couple examples, and generally try to explain how air (and anything caught in it) is simply blowing to try and fill the space rather than being sucked out as a vacuum, being nothing, can do nothing.

He retorts that we wouldn't say vacuum cleaners suck if vacuums didn't suck. And that was his argument. And I'm pretty sure he deleted my last comment because he couldn't rebut it.

I wish those too ignorant to learn could be purged.

My kitchen drawer broke the other day*, and I took my utensils out of it to prevent it from over-stressing the drawer.
(*TL Note: "the other day" means 2 months ago)

After 3 requests to have it fixed, I called my apartment office at work to ask them to friggin' fix it already.

I get back from work today, and apparently, the maintenance crew's idea of "fixing" it was placing my utensils back in the drawer.

It was that simple all along. What a fool I've been.

Also, the flip folders we use in marching band are cheap as balls. The binding rings fall off on a near-daily basis, and it seems like it only happens to me. FRICKIN' HELL.

My laptop won't even turn on anymore.

I don't know why.

What happened was that I wanted to restart it because it wasn't opening Firefox for some reason, so I figured resetting it would do the trick.

Problem is, the second it resets, the screen goes completely black and I leave it alone for like 5 minutes and it won't even turn on. Also everything before the reset was being super slow for some reason. I doubt this was because of a virus because I have literally not done a single thing at all whatsoever where I've done anything out of the ordinary even before this day. I've just been visiting all the sites I normally would and such.

So since it wouldn't reset properly I figured I didn't have a choice but to force a shutdown.

Now it won't turn back on.

And I've had this thing for hardly two weeks.

That's like 700 dollars right down the drain.

I really want to blame myself for being a techbane but this is seriously frustrating when I haven't even done anything of choice and was pretty much cornered into that option.

The comp I'm using now is my old one and while it may be total crap at running things at least it'll work.

What the hell. My laptop ran way better than my computer too. There's no reason this should have happened.

Oh and I forgot to mention I had some important data in there that's not on this computer. Or rather won't RUN on this computer.
