Also my fandubbing group (not throwing names because they could find me) is somehow digging itself a grave. One guy in particular is responsible (from my constant complaining you should know who it is, aka in charge of a certain old school theatrical performance and not lucky star [hope this is obvious but now I feel silly typing like this]). We're a group with only around 300 subs, and the only videos that even pass 1000 views are the ones produced by me and diabeetus, and we never get the credit we deserve (not that we're asking though). We are still seen as members like everyone else, and most of the ideas we suggest often get thrown back at us or someone else takes it and changes it to their own. We dont want special treatment in the group, its just that the one guy in particular, who releases stuff that seems to decrease in quality with each release and clearly has no idea how a group like this should be ran, is seen as a pseudo-leader and gets to control the group while the leaders are away, and they seem to be fine with that when it seems like he will drive that group into the ground. Diabeetus and I announced that for certain reasons we dont want to disclose to them, we will stop uploading on that channel and take our videos elsewhere. Our current projects (Adventure anime and kimi no rage town), will stay, but future episodes will be uploaded on our new one.

But now that guy is setting up a Q&A stream towards the end of the month. A Q&A session for a group that has 300 subs and with each video release gets...5 comments at most. He is making huge plans, not only this but also a website for our fandubs, a lets play channel, movie riffs, and a whole lot of other shit for a channel that was only to specialize in fandubs. We've managed to get other users to start producing fandubs for once so our channel isn't filled with stupid promo vids for crap, but still. I just wanna hit that guy and tell him to stop with the shit he is doing because it will ruin the group. Not-Lucky Star might actually be cancelled because of the demands he is asking for and our actors can't meet them. I already dropped my position as music editor because he was pissing me off.

And now I gotta head to class.

I know when literally 0 of the meeting happen.
I missed the first meeting because of a dentist apointment and that's apparently when they handed out the schedual for EVERY. OTHER. MEETING.
And the only one I've gone to I got chewed out because i missed meetings and It took all of my energy not to just fucking go off on the guy.

I forget how I came to this thought process today but it's a pretty comforting thing to recall. I was going through some things I used to think when I was younger. One of them was having no restraint on talking about even your most insignificant discomforts. I thought it was a healthy thing to do. I always thought it prevented a lack of passive aggressiveness within groups and stopped people from being too dissatisfied with their personal regimes and from lashing on others. I don't think I was entirely wrong but I don't think it was 100% right either. I'm sure we don't exactly agree that whining about every little bad bit of our daily lives is the best thing to do since it reinforces a bizarre sense of superiority, making you look like a teenage edgelord. On the other hand some of the stuff I remember both me and you guys complaining about were pretty hard hitting, relative to them occurring at certain critical periods of our lives. It makes me glad to realize we've reached that point as both adults and as friends that can vent about things that truly bother us, so long as we put it out with some minimal tact anyone should know. Some of you might see it as hard to get anything out there, since giant mood turning problems that overtake our conversational inputs don't tend to be the hot topic, which would in turn might make you think you're being too needy, but I disagree nonetheless. I hope those of you that want to get anything out there remember in fact that you have two places for it with us. Yeah sure, we occasionally have really stupid, sometimes badly misguided arguments (serious or not), but I think even that has a part here. I just hope none of you are subconsciously picking this up as character traits, even for most other internet circles. Don't make that mistake ~~like I did some years ago~~.

In condensation, I suppose the tl;dr is that I'm happy we've mostly learned to complain about the bigger things in our agendas with better manners and timing (which lots of people prefer to not acknowledge as important at all.) Or if not at the least, have given each other the outlet to do so in the first place. I mean it's natural behavior to do that sort of thing every now and then so I hope as friends we would. Maybe I don't have as much experience with groups as I'd like to think, but all around you guys probably handle talking about these things better than most others I know who prefer to not even get involved. Makes me really appreciate you guys and remember a big part of the reason I stuck around for so long.
