[A WAREHOUSE SOUTH OF DETROIT, MICHIGAN]
You could have heard a pin drop in the room. A few rookies sat in folding chairs, nervously waiting for their briefing.
The curtain parts, and a man steps out. He wears a jacket over a white shirt, tan pants, and leather shoes, all in good condition. His long black hair is tied back into a ponytail, and he holds one of those new-fangled holocomputers under one arm like a book. One of the kids sighs and relaxes a bit. Clearly this man isn't the hardened, drill sergeant character they'd been expecting.
The man's eyes flash dangerously. "Sit up straight, rookie. Now." Something about the tone he says it in makes them all straighten out like they've been slapped with a hot iron.
"I'm Frank Pritchard, and I will be in charge of communications for this mission. Before we begin, I'd like you to note that this is NOT a training exercise. If you are caught, Sarif Industries will deny any involvement, so I highly suggest against it. Of course, they probably won't give you a nice little cell; more likely, you'll be tossed into the gutter for the rats.
"Now then, to business. As you know, we recently developed a new experimental weapon, the Barbarossa. A group of what we believe to be terrorists has managed to get ahold of some schematics through a contact within Sarif Industries. We have caught the contact, but we want the Barbarossa schematics destroyed. We have intel that the men are augmented, just as you are. We also know that the man in charge is NOT present on-site, so we want at least one of them kept alive. Any questions?"
One raises his hand. "How long do we have?"
"As long as it takes. Unless they begin assembly of a Barbarossa, you are given as much time as you need for this operation. You are, however, expected to complete your mission as quickly as is convenient. No more questions?" A pause. "Good." He puts his finger to his ear, activating a cerebral communications device. "Faridah, they're ready."
Signups end at 6 PM Central, January 6th.

Actually, if it starts on Dec. 27 like it most likely will, you have until the 6th probably.
