I had a very nice Barry the Chopper build before they nerfed the Woodgrain ring.

Something about a guy flipping about with two Butcher Knives struck fear into people's hearts.

THE WALL

So after ringing the first bell I made my way down the belltower and all of a sudden I see a guy in black (apparently the only one that can forgive your sins) and I get shocked, that he was leaning against a dark wall looking like an enemy I had to kill in order to get there, and all of a sudden I instinctively attack him before locking onto him. Or at least what would have been locking onto him. If he were an enemy. So apparently I couldn't be forgiven since he's the only guy that can, so I killed him.

Then I was gonna start a new game due to how badly I screwed up (I still say of all places he could've been standing it could've been outside)

Then my cousin tells me

"If you're starting a new game, why don't you kill all the NPCs?"

I sat there in about 20 seconds of silence contemplating the option.

I became Spp Jr.

By the way, Solaire was pretty easy to kill.

And so I bring meaning to the title of this thread!

I kinda did the opposite when I encountered a Black Knight.

At that time, I had no idea who or what it was. It had it's back turned when I saw it, didn't really react when I got close. It only did react when I was pretty much touching it's back.

You can imagine how quickly I died from there. 

Also,killing Solaire.
Worst crime ever unless you don't know how to save him.

It wasn't a black knight though, it was an actual NPC.

Also restarted Dark Souls. Wow I worked fast. I'm right before the second boss in under an hour and I'm already level 13 I think, when my prior save was level 23. Killed The Rock on my first try too, got a backstab on him this time. Also beat the tutorial in I think like what, 6 minutes?

You might defeat The Rock, but can you defeat THE WALL?!
