Thanks A Lot for the Birthday Wishes

If you expected a birthday speech, I'm glad to disappoint you cause you're totally right. I've actually done a speech similar to this for all the other groups that were a massive influence to me over these last five years. Poor guys, am I right?
At least spare me this one, it's my 20th birthday and I've been doing a lot of reflecting all day.
I was saving this place for last though, because I'm sure you all figured: This group is the most important to me

I don't know how many of you are aware of the following fact: I know I've told some of you in voicechat, but this day, five years ago, was the day I started lurking Halolz. That's right. I've known this lot for five years now.

Remember back when we celebrated CoF's first anniversary? I recall when DA told us to save all the huge surmounts of sentiment for when we hit five years. I don't know how long it's been for you guys. Some longer than others, I know DA is a much older part of this history than most of us, but for me, it's hit those five years he was talking about. It honestly still feels like yesterday.
I mean, that Snake Eater video that was released earlier today? I guess you could call it a cornerstone of commemoration to this fact. Very not-quality, embarrassingly voiced cover, but it's dumb enough to work as a pseudo birthday gift I suppose. Label this memorization as an obsession if you will, Halolz was the biggest turning dynamic of my life thus far; you people especially. Always has been and always will be.

The odds of meeting all of you are still so strange to me. Every now and then I used to think about how different my life would be if I didn't meet you people. Hell I still do think about it to be honest. I don't even know how many friends I'd have or how sociable I'd be. What I'd even be doing with my days. I said it on the first CoF anniversary, but even now I agree I'd still be that socially underdeveloped shut in that'd just spend all his time browsing /v/, doing nothing productive.

You guys were the first group I could truly feel like a family with. To fill what was missing from my childhood, you all inadvertently taught me what it was like to be excited to see a friend, what confidence was like, what insecurity and success were, everything a human being should know what to feel. That's not something I can really pay back, so I need you to remember for the millionth time how much I love you guys.

I've developed a lot internally. I mean yeah sure, I don't think the lot of us have shifted much externally, but I know most if not all of you feel we've developed as individuals one way or another. And it wasn't just a specific handful of people, it was all of you. In some way you've all made some important change to my life, even though it may be hard to believe on the surface. I really hope I changed at least a few of yours too importantly enough.

I think this is the best change I could have asked for. I'm not a teenager anymore, but we're still mostly the same we were five years ago. As their own person, we're definitely all different. As a group dynamic, I think we're pretty much more of the same.

Deep down this chat's always just had the best of everything, and the worst of everything to me. Something that can't be replaced for me. It's become integral, and I don't think I could ever find a replacement even if I tried for the rest of my life. You've all helped make our time together the most unique for me.

There's gonna be a lot more dumb arguments and happiness down the road I'm sure. Before we know it we'll have known eachother for 10 years, maybe 40 if we don't get Alzheimer's or something by then.

I appreciate every single last one of you down to the core, and I hope I never have to separate from any of you. So don't leave, and remember you always have a place here. At least to me you will.

The lot of you might ignore this anyway but I was ready for that, not like I haven't given this speech a trillion times. What can I say? Aside from anything else I suppose.
