Re: Round 67: Grab Bag 2: Electric Boogaloo
Edit: Actually, scratch that. While I do feel that Gamage has been baiting aggro on himself and isn't playing the way that he normally does, I'm going to put that down to some power (or rather non vanilla) role on Gamage's end, so I'm backing away from this bandwagon in case we kill something useful. Hell I'm amazed that Gam even survived this long with so much lynch heat on him.
I'll vote for Link, as it seems in his style to refrain from killing someone voting for him and his tendency to cast throwaway votes to avoid grabbing attention.

The most suspicious activity is you claiming I'm being suspicious and refusing to give a reason.

Re: Round 67: Grab Bag 2: Electric Boogaloo
alright then I guess I have to role reveal. I didnt want to since the mafia will probably just night kill me anyways
I'm an Alchemist just like Rofl. Unlike him though I didnt start out with all the material which means I've been having to build them up. I also have a vote chenanigans ability which I used to get aboi lynched and prevent a coinflip that could have lynched me.

Wasn't the story blurb about the Alchemist from the new games trying to usurp the one from the old?

Yes it was. But do you believe Leo would give the mafia a role like that too?
Not much I can really do to prove anything now. If someone else were to vote gam I could atleast force a coinflip but other than that you guys are lynching a power role

Re: Round 67: Grab Bag 2: Electric Boogaloo
One story today.
Day story:
spplmj (Rorolina Frixell) fucked with the wrong adorable mob.
Cloak (a Chim) got thrown out with thebathwater useless Alchemist.
We lynch-or-lose now.
Day story:
- Spoiler:
- “Th-this is...” Rorona gazed at the strange sight in front of her.
In Totori's bed, Totori and Mimi lay asleep, the brown-haired Alchemist laying behind the raven-haired aristocrat with her arms wrapped around Mimi's shoulders. Despite being asleep, Totori still appeared to be nuzzling her forehead against the back of Mimi's head with a content smile on her face.
“...I'll just pretend I didn't see anything,” Rorona sighed. As she turned around to leave, she caught a glimpse of Totori's storage container and stopped in her tracks. “Oh... I wonder what Totori has been gathering lately?” After turning her head once more to confirm that Totori was either asleep or at least too obsessed with Mimi to notice, Rorona tiptoed toward Totori's container and popped the lid open.
“Hmm...” Rorona began to rifle through the younger Alchemist's materials. “Wow, some of this stuff is...” She picked up a large silver disc with a pentagram inscribed in the middle of it. “...way over my head,” she sighed, tossing it back into the container. As she was about to close the cover back up, a small glint near the bottom caught her eye. “Oh...?” Digging her hands in once more, she pulled a small gem out. “Th-this must be...!”
In Rorona's hand sat a small translucent crimson gem, with a clear weightless liquid rolling around inside it. Namely, a Water of Life. The main ingredient in the creation of homunculi such as Chims... and, if Rorona's notes were correct, the main ingredient in a Chim Pie as well.
“Such a great opportunity...! But...” Rorona glanced over at the sleeping Totori. “...There's no way she wouldn't notice if this went missing...” She looked at the small gem. “But... she never wanted to try my recipe either... gah, what should I do?!”
Rorona was pulled out of her thoughts by the feeling of a small tug on her dress.
“WAH! I wasn't doing anything, I swear!” Rorona yelled on reflex.
“...Chimu?” Standing at Rorona's feet was one of Totori's small homunculus assistants, a Chim.
“O-oh, it's just a Chim...” Rorona let out a sigh of relief.
“Chimu.” The Chim pointed to the gem in Rorona's hands.
“Huh? This? Oh, it's nothing, don't worry about it!” Rorona lied.
The Chim puffed out her cheeks angrily and held out its hand, open-palm. “Chimu!”
“N-no way! It knows?!” Rorona cupped the Water of Life in her hands.
“Chimu! Chimu chimu!” The Chim jumped into the air and latched onto Rorona's hands.
“Wah! Get off!” Rorona shook her arms wildly in an attempt to shake the Chim free, but the small homunculus's grip did not weaken at all.
“Chimu?”
“Chimu?”
A number of other voices sounded from nearby as a few more Chims came to investigate the noise.
“GAH, MORE?!” Rorona yelled in surprise.
“Chimu!” the first Chim yelled at the others.
“Ch-Chimu!” The new Chims quickly ran up to Rorona and pulled on her legs, attempting to drag her to the ground.
After two minutes of struggling, five more Chims entered the room and wrestled the Water of Life from Rorona's hands.
“N-no! I need that!” Rorona attempted to grab the gem back when another Chim sank its teeth into her hand. “OW!”
Meanwhile, across the room, another Chim pulled a freshly-synthesized bomb from Totori's cauldron. “Chimu!” The Chim pointed at Rorona and two others helped him hoist the bomb up, prepared to throw it.
“Wh-what the hell is that?!” Rorona yelled.
“Chimu!” The bomb was lobbed across the room, detonating less than a meter from Rorona's face. The shockwave sent her flying through the workshop's door and down the nearby hill, all the while with her hand still being gnawed on by the biting Chim.
“Mmm...” Still asleep despite the ruckus, Totori pulled Mimi closer. “Mimi... quit being so loud...” she mumbled sleepily. “We can sleep a little longer... okay?”
spplmj (Rorolina Frixell) fucked with the wrong adorable mob.

- spplmj:
You are Rorolina Frixell, or just Rorona for short.
One of the only four alchemists in the Republic of Arland and main protagonist of the first Arland game, you must defend your trilogy from the new protagonists of the Dusk trilogy.
This is one of the Alchemist roles, which has no recognizable equivalent in normal play. Each night, you can go out to gather materials which can be used at a later night to synthesize and use items.
You can go to gather materials in one of five places; a mountain cave, some ruins, a farm, a forest, and a field. Depending on which location you choose, you have a chance of gathering any of the five items below, with the chance of gathering each item changing based on where you gather. It is possible (but unlikely) to gather more than one item in a night.
Glass – Used to create optic lenses that can be used to investigate another player's alignment during the night.
Fuel – Used to create explosives that can be used to kill another player during the night.
Herb – Used to create medicine that can save another player from being killed during the night.
Strange Powder – Used to create a sleeping drug that can be used to stop all of a target's actions one night.
Flour – Used to create pies. You can use a pie during the daytime on any player (including yourself), making their vote count for two. You may use as many pies as you like at one time.
Note that you cannot gather and synthesize on the same night, and you can only synthesize one item at a time (with the exception of pies).
You win when all other factions have been eliminated.
Cloak (a Chim) got thrown out with the

Well fuck. Assuming the standard 3-man Mafia team, Mafia's pretty much made a flawless victory. >_< Now would be as good a time to reveal and hope for a lucky lynch.

<----- Also a clueless vanilla. Yay.
I certainly agree with French. Role claims are very much in order at this point. I'll hold my vote until a couple more come out.

Tbh the Halolzian victory usurper is still somewhere in the game. Mafia ought to be more afraid of that than anything else.
Anyway, I'm going to go with my Link hunch for the billionth time. Hopefully I can get a lynch on him before the game ends to find out whether or not I was wrong.

I really don't like the idea of voting so soon, especially if you're voting someone who hasn't had the chance to claim yet.
BTW, when does the round end again?

Re: Round 67: Grab Bag 2: Electric Boogaloo
I'm gonna counter vote because your reasons for voting for me don't make any sense to me. Your first reason can be simplified to you think I'm mafia because I didn't kill you after you voted for me and that's apparently my style but the thing is, my "style" doesn't make whether or not the person voted for me a factor and honestly, I don't expect anyone's style to make that a factor.
Your second reason is about me casting throwaway votes but only my vote yesterday could be classed as throwaway but I did that because I won't cause a tie (of 2 or more votes) unless I'm absolutely sure I'm voting for mafia and spp's logic was too faulty to vote for Gamage.

Also, as far as role claims go, this isn't my best one. I'm also vanilla.

Re: Round 67: Grab Bag 2: Electric Boogaloo
At the risk of dying tonight, I am one of the last remaining alchemists in the game.
Similar to spp, I've been having to gather materials nearly each night. One of the materials I gathered was bright powder which I used on the third night. I assume that's what stopped that night's kill.
Last night I used some glass which allowed me to check a player's alignment, Gam turned up guilty.
Plus I'm still worried about potential third parties. Either one of you guys are lying or Zink's getting a free ride.
