Also, I feel rather compelled to point out that signups have been open for 3 weeks now. Nothing remotely negative has been said about things, with the possible exception of Gam and Scept (but even that can easily be seen as poking fun and not actual irritation).

And yet Shadi and Hater couldn't keep signups open for a week before people were complaining bitterly and threatening to drop if he didn't start. I don't mean to stir anything up, but I do see a bit of a disparity here...

(And no, I'm not at all mad at Stalin or anything. Delays just happen sometimes; that's fine.)

Not wanting to stir at all, but I was just thinking this too...

Any chance of the next host wanting to step up?

Yeah, you're right, that's completely unfair.

If Stalin's just dropping the round, I guess I can start mine, but I'll need a few days to set up.

Stalin is out of town on skiing adventures,calm yer tits and just be damn patient, it's only takeing so long because rains round lasted almost a damn month and everyone was burned out it seems for mafia,so again,calm down and be pateint, he's planning on starting when he returns.

If he's out of town, he should postpone his round. Sign-ups went on a week longer since there were so few sign-ups (possibly because it was around the time of people's finals).

I will admit It was totally unfair for me to keep this open for so long.
But at the moment I've got jet lag and I just want to relax so.

I've been rused by Stalin before, and he is the one who killed mafia to begin with. I'm going into this round with blinding pessimism.

Last round that I played of his, he gave Mafia a selfdestruct role. Only 1 Mafia left R2. xD

I was going to start yesterday, but, given the april fools prank, I couldn't.

Game starts in 3 hours, because I want to make it midnight.

That said, I'll reiterate:

In the day following Monobear's announcement, four of the students of Hope's Peak Academy succumbed to either their desire to escape, or the desire of others.

These four died.

However, the rest of them were determined to see him wrong, or biding quite a lot of time to make a proper move.

No more deaths took place in the Despair Accadamy.
Well.
At least not until a change was made.

Before anyone else could question or yell at him, the bear was gone, dissapeared.
And the group was left to mistrust themselves, eyeing eachother suspiciously as they went back to their rooms.

Hope System:
Everyone starts at 50 Hope. Max is 100, Roles change when Hope drops to 0.
Innocent deaths lower hope by 10, Mafia deaths raise hope by 20.
Certain Roles affect the way hope raises and lowers.
A night or day without deaths raises hope by 10.
Roles enter Despair Mode when they hit 0 Hope, and will stay in that until they get back to 20 hope.

A hope system?
I can tell between lynches and deaths that we're quickly going to lose all hope...

So... we have to lynch a mafia every 1.5 rounds (assuming no shenanigans) to keep hope? And we have basically until R3 to lynch our first one? Well.
