A stick crunched underfoot as the brave Iop stepped into the chamber, his fellow party members close behind. The room was massive, and largely unlit - but a massive dark shape loomed just out of sight.
Catching up to their teammate, the Xelor spoke, voice catching in fear.
'Is...is that...?'
'Yeah, it's gotta be,' replied the sacrier, eyeing the dark shape with hunger in his eyes. 'What we came here for.'


This dungeon had been tough - the party had suffered a lot of losses fighting their way to the chamber, as the Black Crow's minions fiercely defended their master. But, finally, they had made it, and now they were in for the toughest fight of all.

As they charged, the ominous figure at the end of the room took flight, and the torches that lined the corridor went out completely, enveloping the brave adventurers in darkness. Confusion spread amongst the party. How were they going to differentiate between friend and foe?
