It does what it's supposed to do really. The Burn match is about 50/50 and the only time I played Mono Black Aggro was after 3 previous hours of playing an untuned deck and I wound up sideboarding wrong (I took out some Banishing Lights and Detention Spheres and put in the Glare of Heresy and Turn//Burn when I should have taken out Aetherling and Helix).

I'm kicking around my sideboard options and trying to decide whether I want to deal with the GR/Jund Monsters + Weenie metagame (2 turn//burn and 1 Warleader's Helix) or if I want to deal with the Burn + Midrange metagame (1 T//B + 2 Helix)

This is the standard deck I'm working on right now, it's pretty good but with Lifebane Zombie and Devour Flesh in standard right now it's a bit difficult to get it to work.

The goal of the deck is to attach a shitton of Enchantments to Xathrid Slyblade, and because it has Hexproof it can't just be burned. Athreos allows me to chump-block with Heliod's Pilgrim and keep bouncing it or hurt my opponent in the process, and if need be I can start sticking Enchantments on Athreos if its a creature.

I also use Godsend as my win condition, if I can get one onto my Deathtouch Vigilant Lifelink Slyblade I basically win. Radiant Fountain helps me outlast aggro early game.

EDIT: I'm still working on my Sideboard but I think I'll just stick in a bunch of control and a couple of Erebos in case my opponent has insane lifegain.
