Round 22: Mafia Girl Quest!

Mmm. I see.

I just had to solve something really quickly, not to mention I had to start writing on the update time because I was still expecting night actions. Anyway, here it is:


"..."
The scylla chosen for the execution didn't say anything after the votes were counted, only staring at the other villagers.
"...you have nothing to say in your defense? Were you really responsible for th-" Before the human executioner could finish, the being in front of him quickly changed shape, and he barely had time to dodge the tentacle that tried to pierce his stomach.
"What the hell is this thing?!" The rest of the villagers were also surprised by that change, but were ready to fight the abomination.

The "scylla's" body grew in size and was now involved by thick scale plates. Not only those provided defense, but she could easily pierce a human with her tentacles involved in that. She tried once again to take down the executioner, but he deflected her tentacles with his axe. As the villagers surrounded her body she knew she had lost her chance when the surprise attack failed. The villagers aimed for her unprotected neck and head from behind, the lamias cast a fire spell, hitting her face while she dealt with the enemies on her back. The magic wasn't enough to stop her, but blinded by the fire she was unable to defend her vulnerable parts from the simultaneous attacks.

The traitor couldn't get anyone down before it's death.

Although some villager's seemed to think that nightmare was over, the Siren had always been a careful monster. She felt safer inside her house, as it was made on the top a tall tree, and carefully planned her next actions. Hardly anyone could reach her on such a high place, as they would take time to climb it unless they had wings. If they had, she would simply hear them and escape. More than ever she was proud of her home.

She suddenly heard the sound of leaves moving, but it was too calm to be anyone trying to reach her house, so she didn't mind approaching the window. She expected to appreciate the sight of the bats or nocturnal birds moving through her tree, so that small scythe suddenly piercing her chest was kind of a bummer.

"I wish I wasn't a biiirrrd!"

...Zyquux. I may have been wrong, seeing Nyu's role. The kill was prevented because Link tried to kill the godfather, not because I blocked you.

Well, back to square one... the part where I traded Vat for Nyu.

"Good, good." A lamia started speaking as soon as the majority of the villagers chose a woman "Then we can finally proceed with this."
Before any of them could ask her what did she mean by that, the lamia quickly coiled her snake half around the woman, letting only her head out,
"Wait! Help me, I'm innocent, someone stop her! I can't breath!" The woman started to scream as the lamia made her coil tighter.
The villagers asked the monster to let the woman go, but they were simply ignored.
"Now that you can't move, why don't you do that cool trick of yours? Don't you want to show us your true face before I crush you body?"
The woman kept screaming and crying, but the lamia was sure about that one.
"You are too loud, I should probably do something about that..." The lamia involved the woman's head, silencing her. "Well, if you are so proud of your disguise, you can just die like that."
The monster girl mercilessly crushed the woman in front of the shocked villagers.
"...how are you so sure about this girl? Was she really one of them of did you just want to silence her?! Show us the body now!"
"Lower your tone, I just did us a favor...oh, she already changed." The lamia let her tail go, but there wasn't a human there. On the ground there was the corpse of a human-sized Mantis Girl.
"You are all aware that this kind of monster shouldn't have any way to change shape, right? Well, another abomination down, yet I'm sure she wasn't the leader of this group. Now if you excuse me, I need to wash off this blood. Later." The lamia happily left as the dumbfounded villagers stood there.

At night, a blonde woman angrily moved involved in black clothes.
" 'Don't worry master. You don't need to dirty your hands with their inferior blood master. They will know you are an angel if you show them your angel wings, master!', bah, stupid doggies."
The girl reached her target's house. "I have to do everything by myself now. Dear Ilias, as your prettiest and smartest servant I deserved better pets."
The girl reached the Mermaid's bedroom, blocked her mouth as soon as she woke up and twisted her head, breaking her neck.
"Aaaanyway, I think I'm ok. They won't be cruel enough to lynch the prettiest girl in the village~♥."
She went back to her house, leaving the monster's body right where she was killed.
