Way to out yourself as Patchouli.
Polls closed, writing stuff up now. But you all see where this is going.
Re: Round 43: Touhou Project #3 - WITCH HUNT!
The one-week magician (Zink120, Patchouli Knowledge) couldn't live up to her nickname.
Final story.
Night actions and awards coming up.
- Spoiler:
- Zink120;
You are Patchouli Knowledge.
A sickly magician living in the library of the Scarlet Devil Mansion, you and your fellow youkai magician Alice Margatroid (spplmj) ended up being dragged into a fight between magicians and non-magicians due to Marisa Kirisame's (Nyu-Shark's) stupidity.
This is a strange, experimental mafia role with no discernible equivalent in normal play.
Having brought a number of magical stones with you, you can use them to craft abilities to use. You have a total of 12 stones with you; two each of the main five elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water), and one each of the Sun and Moon elements. Problem is, you don't know which stones will create which abilities, so you'll need to know each stone's attribute to get an idea for which combinations will produce which effects;
Wood – Informative attribute.
Fire – Ability attribute.
Earth – Preventative attribute.
Metal – Assistive attribute.
Water – Protective attribute.
Sun – Active/offensive attribute.
Moon – Passive/defensive attribute.
You may use a single stone, or combine it with a second stone to create a different effect (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water stones can be combined with each other, but not Sun and Moon stones; similarly, Sun and Moon stones can be combined with each other, but not with any of the others). You will lose any stones that you use, whether or not your ability resolves as it should. In addition, you will not be told what ability you ended up using; you must discern it yourself.
When choosing which stones to use, you must also pick a player to target, as most of your abilities will require a target. And though this probably goes without saying, you can only use one ability each night.
Regarding normal mafia stuff, your leader Marisa decides who to kill and who will be doing the killing. Alice takes over that duty if Marisa dies. In addition, you must use up one of your stones if you wish to perform the nightly kill (if you don't choose which stone to use, one will be picked at random). The stone used for the kill will not have its ability activated, but you can still use other stones for their abilities even when you are performing that night's kill.- Spoiler:
You win when your magicians outnumber the other players.
Last Word – Sun Moon Sign “Royal Diamond Ring”
A powerful spell that fires an extremely large ring of bullets around you, killing anyone that targets you the night it is used. Unlike other Last Words, you may use yours at any time, but it requires you to use your only Sun and Moon stones.
Final story.
- Spoiler:
- “Hey... I'm thirsty...” Marisa whined.
“Hush, you,” Reimu snapped. “Yukari, would you like some more?”
“Of course,” Yukari smiled, holding her cup toward Reimu.
The sudden outburst of violence had caused all but a few of the Hakurei Shrine's visitors to leave, and only Reimu, Yukari, Mima, Sanae, and the three magicians remained.
“I just wanna go home...” Alice pouted, bound on the ground with Marisa and Patchouli.
“No, you're gonna sit there and think about what you've done,” Reimu scolded.
“But I didn't do anything!” Alice yelled. “It was just Marisa!”
“Now now, little Alice,” Mima smiled, “you need to learn to take responsibility for your actions.”
“But I said I didn't-”
“...She isn't listening,” Patchouli said softly.
“Man, this sucks,” Sanae said, hanging her head down. “Everyone left before they could see my heroics.”
“I don't think there was much for them to see,” Reimu said flatly.
“Bah! Fine, then!” Sanae stood up. “I'm gonna go organize my own flower-viewing party. With spellcards. And Buddhists!”
“No one's gonna walk themselves all the way up that huge-ass mountain just to see something they can see here every day,” Mima said.
“Speaking of which, why do you people insist on coming every day?” Reimu asked in an annoyed tone.
“Oh, Reimu~, you know I can't help but come when you're around,” Yukari teased.
“...Too much,” Mima sighed.
“Yeah, tone it down a bit, will you?” Reimu took another sip of the sake that she had recovered from Marisa.
“Man, that looks sooooo good...” Marisa said, eyeing the bottle.
“None for any of you. Just stay there and feel bad.”
“...I dislike being outside for extended periods of time,” Patchouli said.
“Well then you need the fresh air.”
In the end, Marisa learned nothing, Alice and Patchouli continued to suffer due to her, and Reimu and Yukari totally did yuri stuff to each other.
Good end.

THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN REALLY FREAKING HELPFUL.
Also, how could I have used them 'solo'? I had to use two, right?

It also would have been OP as fuck if you had known what they did.
And no, you could use just one.
Re: Round 43: Touhou Project #3 - WITCH HUNT!
Remaining roles.
Hunter Axel (Reimu Hakurei)
Zyquux (Sanae Kochiya)
Vatonnage (Mima)
Alpar (Yuki)
French Connections (Mai)
Hunter Axel (Reimu Hakurei)
- Spoiler:
- Hunter Axel;
You are Reimu Hakurei.
The current Hakurei shrine maiden, you're sick of the constant annoyances the witches put you through. Go teach them a lesson and show them who's in charge of Gensokyo.
This is a variant of the “investigator” role, because that's what Reimu always is. Each night, you may target one other player to investigate. You will be told that player's alignment (a witch or not a witch).
You win when the witches have been successfully hunted and/or beaten up.
Last Word - “Fantasy Heaven”
The ultimate technique of the Hakurei bloodline. You can use this once to get complete investigation results on your target, including their role name and any abilities they may have. Your investigation also cannot be redirected, stopped, or otherwise altered in any way.
Unlike other people's Last Words, you can activate your Last Word at any time you want; however, you will not be able to investigate the night after.
Zyquux (Sanae Kochiya)
- Spoiler:
- Zyquux;
You are Sanae Kochiya.
A priestess serving Kanako Yasaka, goddess of the Moriya Shrine, you have decided to eliminate the witches in order to expand your influence... somehow. It'll work, don't worry about how.
This is a variant of the “jack of all trades” role. You have four powers, each of which can be used once. Only one can be used each night.
Protection – You may target another player and protect them from being killed during the night.
Investigation – You may target another player to investigate during the night. You will be told whether or not that player is a witch.
Roleblock – You may target another player during the night and prevent them from using any abilities they may have.
Vigilante Kill – You may target another player to kill during the night.
You win when the witches have been successfully hunted and/or beaten up.
Last Word – Great Miracle “Yasaka's Divine Wind”
Lady Kanako's power will refill all uses of your abilities. You may use this during the day or night, but only after you have used all of your abilities once.
Vatonnage (Mima)
- Spoiler:
- Vattonage;
You are Mima.
An evil spirit, self-proclaimed deity of the Hakurei Shrine, self-proclaimed god of the human world, and self-proclaimed inspiration for Heath Ledger's portrayal of The Joker in The Dark Knight. Despite being a magician yourself, you have decided to ally yourself with the non-witches in order to test the skills of your former student, the magician Marisa Kirisame.
This is a variant of the “vigilante” and “miller” roles. Each night, you may target another player to kill. However, since, as mentioned before, you ARE a magician yourself, any investigations that target you will show you as a witch.
You win when you beat the stuffing out of those inferior magicians.
Last Word – Ritualic Space “Orreries Solar System”
This spell can only be used in a lynch-or-lose situation, either during the day or at night. A potent spell created by Mima that manifests six colored orbs around her, amplifying her abilities. Once activated, for the remainder of the game, you will be granted a random assortment of up to six abilities. The abilities you can get, as well as the chance you have of getting them, are as follows;
Strongman (your night kills cannot be protected against) – 85% chance
Strong-willed (your night kills cannot be blocked or redirected) – 75% chance
Doublevote (your vote counts for two instead of one) – 50% chance
Vote dodger (one vote will be removed from you at the end of each day) – 20% chance
Bulletproof (renders you immune to all night-kills) – 20% chance
Immune to investigations (investigations that target you will be returned inconclusive) – 50%
Alpar (Yuki)
- Spoiler:
- Alpar;
You are Yuki.
A resident of the demon world, Makai, you and your friend Mai (French Connections) are in charge of handling dangerous magical artifacts. At the request of Makai's goddess, Lady Shinki, you have delivered some artifacts to her “daughter” Alice to study, but they were apparently stolen by some magician girl. This witch hunt seems to be a good opportunity to get them back, even though you and Mai are magicians yourselves. Whatever, these people seem to have forgotten that the two of you even exist.
Aside from being able to PM your friend (and your Last Word), you have no special abilities.
You win when the witches have been defeated.
Last Word – “Crimson Maiden”
Not even really a spell. This ability will activate automatically when Mai dies. You'll have to work twice as hard with her gone, making your votes count for two for the remainder of the game.
French Connections (Mai)
- Spoiler:
- French Connections;
You are Mai.
A resident of the demon world, Makai, you and your partner Yuki (Alpar) are in charge of handling dangerous magical artifacts. At the request of Makai's goddess, Lady Shinki, you have delivered some artifacts to her “daughter” Alice to study, but they were apparently stolen by some magician girl. This witch hunt seems to be a good opportunity to get them back, even though you and Yuki are magicians yourselves. Whatever, these people seem to have forgotten that the two of you even exist.
Aside from being able to PM your partner (and your Last Word), you have no special abilities.
You win when the witches have been defeated.
Last Word – “Judas Kiss”
Not even really a spell. This ability will activate automatically when Yuki dies. With her no longer holding you back, your votes will count for two for the remainder of the game.

Re: Round 43: Touhou Project #3 - WITCH HUNT!
I knew I should've killed you Mentles when I had the chance. It's clear by my streak of games that I'm not familiar nor suited to the antagonizing alignment, let alone the one that calls the shots. Here me now you've achieved this victory by circumstance this time around, as Nyu is a follower not a leader (or mafia at this point.)
Regardless you have my bow of respect for your easy victory.
