This is basically a thread for boasting about your VG achievement and no not the ones you get trophies or points for but for personal achievements you felt so good about after playing a game. So weather it be for making it through the 99 floor dungeon in pokemon mystery dungeon with no items used or doing the infamous 360 noscope kill in CoD just share here what you feel is a personal achievement in the world of Video games.

Agreeing heavily here! I actually think Double Dash was my favorite out of all the mario karts I've played! and that was mostly single player too! D:

As for my Salty Spitoon toughness, the only thing I can remember off the top of my head is in Dark Souls, I walked into some really dark, very enclosed room that had water and pillars everywhere, and the next thing I knew wheel skeletons were rolling all over the place at me

I beat the Shadow Devil in Mega Man X5, and I only raged for twenty minutes.

Not sure if it's an "Achievement", but I went all the way to level 57 without being invaded in Demons Souls.
My next character was invaded within minutes of killing Phalanx.

I'll have you all know I defeated Matador in SMT III and it only took me 50 attempts!

I may or may not have been driven to tears of anger in the process.

I don't know for sure but it's probably somewhere in the Catacombs. The only other place they're in is the Painted World in the bottom of a well but the corridors there aren't exactly conductive to dodginig.

On the topic of dark souls. I once beat Smough and Ornstien, and it only took me a few months.

As far as actual gaming achievements, I got rather good at Mario Land 2 when I was young. I could go through the first floor of Wario's castle without actually looking at the screen, and everything except Wario himself I could do perfectly without ever dying. That's about the best thing I can think of.

Well after a hefty round of Dark Souls today...

I remember the water part. Enclosed? I'm not so sure about that, it was outside, but there were a ton of wheel skeletons. Pillars? Probably, probably not. You might be thinking of painted world like Rofl suggested earlier in the thread.
But if it turned out to be Catacombs, then add me to that list of achievements.

I only really managed it once because every other time was basically just "please let me get to Tomb of the Giants already I hate it here."

And then I hated Tomb of the Giants even more.

I went to Worlds of Fun in... Missouri, I believe. And guess what I found and played at the arcade.

Belated, but might as well...

At AWA they had an arcade cabinet with every main Windows Touhou game in it (except PoFV, because they couldn't get 2 player to work). They also had a cabinet with Megaman Power Battle/Fighters which I actually got to play.

More recently, got to play some Japanese-only fighter, King of the Monsters 2, Raiden, and some other Danmaku shooter I don't remember the name of. All at the Zoo's arcade.

If only I could remember the name of the shooter, and findout the name of the other (it was completely in Japanese)

I'm proud to say i finally beat all 3 god of war games, first time i beat a full series like this and fuck anyone who says i need to play the psp or the prequel,i'm happy with what i have achieved.
