Round 77: Grab Bag 3: Grab Harder

“Alright, my turn!” Katsuragi shouted. She grasped the spinner between her fingers and flicked it, sending it rotating rapidly. “Let's see...” The spinner slowed to a crawl. “Nine! Alright, one, two...” Katsuragi slid her piece across the board. “Chance space...” She grabbed a card from the pile. “'You accidentally groped a royal scion. Go directly to jail.' ...Huh?”

“Why does that only happen in the game...” Ikaruga muttered.

“Fine, fine, I guess I- ...eh? I don't see a jail space on the board,” Katsuragi said.

“That's because there isn't,” Asuka said.

“What? Then what should I do?” Katsuragi asked.

“Just sit there...” Asuka reached up and grasped a rope hanging from the ceiling. As she pulled it sharply, the mat that Katsuragi was sitting on suddenly dropped, sending her falling through a trapdoor.

“E-eh?!” Hibari shrieked.

“...A very dangerous game,” Yagyuu said.

“I wouldn't expect a game made for ninjas to be anything but dangerous,” Homura said with a sly smile.

Scept (Katsuragi) groped her last.

“...Okay then, my turn...” Yagyuu delicately twirled the spinner. “Five... what does this space do?”

“Okay,” Asuka began, “for this one you need to pick another playe-”

“Hibari,” Yagyuu said before Asuka even finished her explanation.

“...The player you pick loses, and needs to run 100 laps around the school,” Asuka sighed.

“Y-Yagyuu...” Hibari stared at Yagyuu with teary eyes.

“W-wait! I want to change my pick!” Yagyuu said, slamming her hand on the table.

“I guess,” Asuka said. “So who is it?”

“Hmm...” Yagyuu looked around the table, sizing up each of the remaining players. “...You.”

“Hm?” Hikage stared back at Yagyuu with general disinterest. “Any particular reason?”

“Not really,” Yagyuu said. “That little cat-eared brat isn't with you, so might as well be another of Homura's goons instead.”

“...I feel discriminated against,” Homura sighed.

“Fine then,” Hikage said. “But first...” she placed a card on the table in front of her.

“What...?” Yagyuu picked up the card and squinted to read it through her good eye. “...'Vendetta: when a player causes you to lose the game, you may play this card to make them lose as well. Any punishment you would have received is given to them as well, and doubled.'”

“200 laps,” Hikage said. For a moment, a faint smirk seemed to appear on her normally emotionless face.

Rain (Yagyuu) didn't see that coming.

Why are all the mafia getting night killed?  The hell is even going on? I don't understand... and almost in-character, don't care anymore...

Well, now that there's two mafia down, I should probably mention that I am the cop and I currently have 2 guilty verdicts and  a no-result, those being Alpar and Zink with Stalin as the enigma.

I should note that Leo specifically told me that there are roles that will mess up my results so I can't know for sure if I'm right but we have a huge advantage so there's no point withholding this.

I'll vote Zink for now.

Instalynch has happened, but still waiting on some possible night actions. Night ends in ~100 minutes or when I get in all night actions or a note saying they won't be used.

“I think that's the last of the blood,” Homura said, tossing a blood-stained rag into the garbage.

“There's still clumps of Miyabi's hair over here,” Asuka called out.

“Leave it, we'll do a more thorough cleaning later,” Homura sighed, retaking her seat. “Okay, I think my turn is next.” She grasped the wheel.

“W-wait, we're not even going to talk about what happened?!” Ikaruga asked.

Ignoring Ikaruga, Homura spun the wheel. “Seven.”

“That was the most gruesome thing I've seen in my life!” Ikaruga yelled.

“One... two... three...” Homura slowly slid her piece across the board.

“Hibari is in the fetal position and hasn't said a word since!”

“Red space, that's two players... Asuka, get over here,” Homura said.

“Pick one of the game cards,” Asuka instructed.

“Okay, let's see...” Homura drew a red card from the table. “...'Yuri Chicken'... the hell?”

“That one's easy,” Asuka said. “We each move towards each other like we're going to kiss, and whoever stops first loses.”

“O-oh... ha... y-yeah, okay...” Homura stuttered.

Asuka and Homura turned toward each other.

“Okay... ready?” Asuka smiled.

Homura took a deep breath. “Y-yes...”

The two ninjas slowly moved their faces toward each other.

C'mon, focus, Homura thought to herself. She should stop right here... what, she's still going? ...Wait... WHY IS SHE CLOSING HER EYES?!

The two girls refused to back down, and eventually their lips touched.

“Aww...” Asuka pouted. “If neither of us give up, we both have to move back two spaces...” She slid her piece across the board. “...Although... I could say that was worth it,” she said, blushing. “Right, Homura? ...Homura?” Asuka turned back toward her friend, who had fallen unconscious with copious amounts of blood streaming from her nose. “Ah! Homura, are you okay?!”

“M-more blood?!” Ikaruga yelled.

Asuka sighed. “I'll go get more rags...”

Zink (Homura) did it for her. Or to her. I can't decide.

I think one thing is obvious. There's more than one faction on this. I'm part of one of those, not village, not mafia.



My faction is simply survivor. I'm alone here, 3rd party, Win with whoever wins.
Enigma is meaningless here, when it's obvious there's several partys other than the village in play.

That said.
Axel's a bit happy to jump on a bandwagon.
