I'm aware of this, and my role is the same way. But Cloak claimed that his powers don't change each day. The only other people we've seen like this were Alpar (the bus driver) and to a lesser extent, Zink, who was mafia. So if his role truly is like this, I see reason to believe it can screw the town over, intentionally or not.

But with the bus driver gone, the only person that would be able to fool an investigator would be the godfather, unless there is a framer amongst us. So how would an investigator screw the town over?

Edit: Unless Stalin has equipped another role with bus driver abilities on certain days...

That's the thing. I'm not believing the initial reveal in the first place.

And Zink seems to be the one who could have passed for innocent on some days. Though there's always the possibility of millers and framers.

Until we can be sure Cloak is innocent, my vote shall stick on him.

I targeted Alpar first, Mentle second, Link third, but link was the second person I investigated that died.

Welp, I never got a chance to actually be useful, you guys still insist that people are just stupid for claiming indefensible roles, and I'm the one investigator as far as I know. Good luck, you're gonna need it.

"Everyone I investigate dies that night" is very easily translated into "This guy isn't the third party, kill him." Plus hyper defense-ism "I'M THE INVESTIGATOR YOU TWATS, STOP VOTING FOR ME" kinda makes you look really suspicious.

I stand by my vote.

He did say he believed I was innocent after the second night, when he claims to have investigated me. Although I find it hard to believe Cloak would plan ahead like this if he was scum, I doubt this situation can be reverted, and if he is innocent he might bring some suspicions up.

He smacks Rolf across the face with the banhammer and then runs off, his pillar of hats waving as he goes.
...and the unlucky shepard gets up again. Zyquux, however, wasn't so lucky.
