I've been playing MM too.

I'mma sit this one out because it's starting when my summer school starts so I'll just observe this one for now.

After playing the Song of Time about 20 times, Skull Kid begins to realize he has almost no control over where or when he will end up. The only thing he seems to be capable of is sending himself back to that strange town he ended up in after the he played the song the first time. However, with each visit, time seems to have moved forward. He noticed that on the third visit, the fire beside the large mansion suddenly disappeared.

Then, on the seventh time he travelled to the town, the Mansion was gone. As he looked around, he saw that the buildings within the town were in a terrible state. Some buildings had partially collapsed, others had collapsed completely and all that was left of them was a pile of rubble.

At this point, the Skull Kid was beginning to get bored. He played the Song of Time one more time. After the bright flash of light, he found himself in the middle of a long corridor. The corridor was made from a very smooth grey stone and had a long red carpet running along it. There was also windows looking out onto nearby gardens. Unfortunately for the Skull Kid, it was also lined with royal guards. Realizing he didn't have a lot of time, he immediately began to play the Song of Time. He thought he was safe until he felt a hand grab him from behind just as he disappeared from the corridor, leaving all those that seen what happened bewildered.

When he arrived back in the ruins of the town, he quickly shook free of the person's grip. Without thinking, he cursed the person and they turned into a Skull Kid. Because of the curse, Skull Kid could sense that the person he cursed was evil. It was at this point that the Skull Kid thought of a way to relieve his boredom for a long time. He made it clear to the person he cursed that if they wanted the curse to be lifted, they would have to do what Skull Kid said. After that, the Skull Kid played the song yet again but this time, he was out to get more victims.

Story looking brilliant.

There are fifteen skull kids waiting in what used to be the town square. None of them are quite sure what's going on. They have all been kidnapped and cursed by Skull Kid and all have been told that they must do as he tells them if they want to be free of his curse. They have also been given a new name by the Skull Kid so that no one will know who they are. They walk around the square, wondering what the Skull Kid has planned for them. Suddenly, there's another flash of light and the Skull Kid re-appears with a sixteenth skull kid. He then directs the new skull kid to join the crowd.

Skull Kid laughs. "OK, children, I have gathered you all here for a little game. There are a number of evil people among you. You will vote each day on who you think is evil and then at the end of the day, I kill whoever has the most votes. Then, at night, the curse will let you change into your true form but will give off the illusion that you are still a skull kid. You can choose what you want to do at night."

The skull kids look nervously at each other, not too pleased with what Skull Kid said.
"Or, if you want me to, I could just kill you all right now. Any takers?" Skull Kid added.
Immediately, all the skull kids shook their heads.
"Good, we start at Dawn!"
And as the Skull Kid said that, the Sun began to rise behind him.
