Well like I said, it doesn't really matter when it starts. It's not like we will die if we don't mafia. :-)
Personally I've always thought that signups should only be 2 or 3 days anyway, so it's cool, you're no more guilty than anyone else in my book.

Typically people don't have this poor a reaction to it. That's what's atypical here. A week's worth of setup is pretty standard where I come from. Two weeks isn't unheard of, even. Granted, we also usually have two games running at once so most people have something to do in the meantime.

"People do things differently where I come from and after weeks of being here I didn't figure out that people would react negatively to objectively poor quality in game management, especially when it was stressed in the rules how to avoid this, which Shadi and Hater were told to read with an entire thread dedicated to that."

I understand that you are impatient, but I just find it quite funny that if a mod/oldschool from here or something was to delay you're cool with it. I realise this has been poor, I don't control where HATER is and I am planning to run this without him if he isn't here in 2 hrs time. I was planning to tell you yesterday that it'd be delayed to today afternoon/evening EST time and I actually sat on a teamspeak server hours last night (to like 6-7 AM my time!) trying to solve stuff with HATER for this game but he was semi busy (ironically I forgot to tell you). I just get a vibe that you feel like I don't give a fuck or that I'm trying to not make you enjoy this.

I will modify the roles in 2 hrs if he's not here, and might even do it regardless. That might take 1 hr or so, then I will send PMs and we can start off. Again, I apologise for the inconvenience.

Also Scept, was that a signup) I guess not but I'll give you the 2 hrs to clarify if you wanna be in (sorry if this removes ur possibility to play).

Can you give me an example? When did this ever happen without something in real life preventing the host from starting?

Stalin 2 games ago. The delay wasn't even that much longer than mine.

Except his game had 6 days of sign ups, he had problems in real life delaying it and said when it would start after the delay, and even so people complained about him expecting more players than he should and taking so long to start.

Meanwhile the sign ups for this game have started 9 days and a half ago, and once again we had the issue with host expecting more players than he should.

Frankly I'm only fed up with Stalin's shit concerning hosting so this doesn't phase me much, or at all.

Oh okay, we had a 1 week sign up. So it has been what, 2 days extra than promised and him one?

HATER is here btw and we are discussing the changes, PMs should be flying out in 45 minutes. Again sorry if I sound cocky and sorry for the delay.

Six days in Stalin's round and nine and a half for yours, so this sign up period was 50% longer. The point is that you don't say other people have received special treatment when your round takes considerably longer to start and people actually said the same to Stalin.
