I think DA mixed things up, Hater implied I was mafia right after the penultimate update. I believe he knew I was mafia because I silenced him right before he could move against my partner, but he claims that he didn't know. Even so his message would make me sound like a mafioso who killed him, but if it really was an accident it's ok since we won anyway.

I'd be satisfied with just an official warning for him, wouldn't mind if he joined this round.

Thanks, but this isn't the round for new mechanics, since I'm making the roles on the last second anyway, so it's better to make things simple.

I agree, it's important for him to play as many games with us as he can right now. He needs the chance to get more used to our games, and we need the chance to see if he's compatible with our community.

For the record, I never intended to reveal/imply anyone was mafia (I was still convinced mentle was a townie, believe it or not -- props to him for pulling off such a convincing illusion). I do apologize profoundly that I caused so much unintended trouble. It won't happen again.

That said, I'd love to chill in with y'all for this game, looks really fun. I love multifaction games (we're no strangers to them on our forums- playing one right now at the moment, actually!) and love playing with you guys. Y'all have a unique flavor quite unlike any group of werewolf/with hunt/mafia players I've played with before. I'd enjoy getting to know you all a bit more.

The alliance between Sir Richard Rose and his several subordinates was finally broken due to several very complicated reasons, including Paco Loco not enjoying the fancy british crap Richard offered during their meetings and signs of prejudice against El Greco and the Chief.

Either way, chaos started in Generictown, as the old subordinates started a war over it. The Sheriff couldn't try to arrest any of them without being shot, stabbed and/or exploded, depending of who he tried to arrest first. Things got worse when Billy and Cormano also infiltrated the town, and with everyone disguised and hiding their alliances, no one knew what to do.

Even so the only people to die were goons, and the power struggle seemed pointless. Until the Sheriff called everyone for a meeting and gave them an idea.

Sheriff: "Alright, so...I want all of you dead. You want each other dead. I see no better solution than a stupid game of democracy. After all, you are all proud murrikan crime bosses."

Everyone in the room immediately started clapping, with a few half-assed claps, probably from immigrants.

Sheriff: "I see everyone is happy with it. Every day we vote, and whoever gets the most votes will be hanged. I frankly hope you all die and we can live on, but even if one of you is left to abuse this town, it will be still better than daily shootouts. Everyone happy? Then let us start."

Well, it's really your fault. Phrases from the source material are often used and generally interpreted as a way of saying you're joining. You and Vat said basically the same thing. Hell, Stalin used the same phrase as well but he stated that he would be missing this round earlier in the post.

Really, we should probably have a rule about posting during sign-ups to avoid stuff like this.

Anyway, not gonna vote until this has been dealt with since it might muck up the teams.

Mhm, a reroll would be very fine in order to get the last lads in. We haven't really done anything whatsoever. We could have something you need to say like <in> to signify you're in (then add whatever you want to that post, rest is disregarded).
