Just then, the organizing cop's B.U.S. marked "TRANSFERRING ELECTRON DATA. PLEASE WAIT". He immediately clicks on "DETAILS"
"Hm, if I recall correctly, this guy was a troublemaker in our group. Chances are, he might've turned against those Gamma Corp. guys and joined the Editors...
...hope I'm right... I don't want any more meaningless casualties."
The B.U.S. then read "ELECTRON DATA SUCCESSFULLY TRANSFERRED"

Meanwhile, in the play, a hilarious line was spoken. So hilarious, in fact, that it filled the entire theater. Nothing could be heard, but humongous, heartfelt laughter.
"THIS IS THE CUE!" said the organizer cop on the B.U.S. comm line "CHECk THE PREZ BOX AND THE B.U.S.!"
Sure enough, Honest Abe was shot in the back of his head at Point-Blank range, as the B.U.S. read "VITAL SIGNS OF ZYQUUX: PRETTY DARN DEAD"
"...wait, you picked Zyquux?" said the organizer cop
"It was Zyquux?" replied another cop
"Did you even check his Time Cop ID?!"
"Well then, Mr. Smarty-Pants, if you're so clever, why don't you have yours either? That's right, it's because they aren't teleported with us!"
"Oh... so you could only check his ID on the Deceased Profiles, no?"

MEANWHILE, BEHIND THE SCENES

Two guys are sitting at their computers inside a pocket dimension. The dimension's boundaries make it impossible for them to be affected by the time-changes surrounding them.

The guy who decided to go to the Pepsi timeline finally appears... albeit in another place.

He then pulls out a breadboard, with some circuitry and a holographic panel similar to that of Gamma Corp.'s B.U.S. Wrist Device

The Homemade B.U.S. reads "NO RESPONSE"
"Great. I'm stranded in this place COMPLETELY ALONE!"
"You are not alone" says another person.
The Editor turns around to see who was the one talking.

The Editor then decides to run away as far as he can, but he is stopped by what appears to be an alien with huge claws and an insectoid appearance!

The events that happened were also unspeakable, but I will give you a hint this time. The alien sliced the top of the Editor's head like a can being opened. That's all you need to know.

BACK AT THE POCKET DIMENSION
"What is taking this idiot so long! It's almost departure time! And I want my Pepsi!"
Suddenly, an alarm goes off, and the Editor steps once again into the platform.
"It's time to get medieval in their asses... literally..."
He is now beamed into the action.


MEANWHILE
The cops arrive in what appears to be The Middle Ages. They appear to be beamed into the bodies of peasants.
"Uh... guys? Is this the future?" says one cop
"It appears to be" says another
"Then why are we in the middle ages?"
"That's because this isn't our old timeline" says the organizer cop. "In this timeline, our technology never evolved"
"WHAT!? That sucks!"

A peasant starts marching down, ringing a bell
"HEAR YE, HEAR YE! REMEMBER THE GRAND DOWNFALL OF OUR BROTHERS IN THE ALAMO!"
A lady in robes carrying his baby said to him "You think this is a game to you? My baby is dying, thanks to O'haracare!"
"You see what I mean?" said the organizer cop "This town is having the problems of 2012 in our timeline, with the technology of the 13th Century of our timeline! And it appears we landed on this timeline's equivalent of a Redneck Town"
"...wait, the Alamo happened? IN THE MIDDLE AGES!?" said one cop
"IT. IS NOT. THE MIDDLE AGES!" angrily said the organizer cop
The guy with the bell said "HEAR YE, HEAR YE! A live Terrorist burning is about to happen!"
The crowd marches over to a stake, where a guy with white robes, a turban and a beard is tied on it.
The alleged terrorist says "I AM NOT A TERRORIST, I TELL YOU!"
"You dress like one" said the executioner
"NO, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND! MY WIFE AND I SWAPPED CLOTHES!"
"Tell that to your maker when you meet him!"
The crowd goes wild, as the executioner lowers his torch onto the stake...

...unfortunately, a breeze blows it off, as the crowd just groans.
"...okay! Don't panic! Does anyone have any coal?" says the executioner.
"That's our cue to vote, guys." says the organizer cop.
"So we're gonna beam today's target to the terrorist's body" said another cop.
"Precisely. You're catching on, man. I like that"
Halfheartedly and sarcastically, the other cop laughs.

............Another ok update, I'd say. No night kill but I was wrong about Zyquux. But it's rather worrying that twice the mafia have been caught by that F'rkhaurq thing. Yeah this alien whatever thing that seems to stop the night kills for whatever reason seems a bit worrying. No one else seems to be getting killed after the lynch but I have a bad feeling about what may happen later.

Getting back to voting, I have reason to suspect Zink. No it's not because he's been quiet, if that's what you're thinking. Just recieved results from an investigation and as long as there haven't been any bus driver shenanigans, it seems he's guilty. Either that or I'm a paranoid cop.

Now if you had done that, and Nanon was the target, vat would be dead, disregarding any bulletproofness or doctoring.
And the connection to Zyquux is unfounded because he was in the lynch tie, What sort of mafia would target someone in the lynch that's not an apparent high value target, certainly not vat. He's smart when he's mafia, and that's not something he'd do,
