Round 69: Chaos Rising

Any idea on how corruption works guys? Does it turn good players evil? Or does it just screw with their role abilities? (e.g. a doctor kills instead of protects?)

Btw, someone want to bug Hater for a vote before he gets modkilled? I'd do it myself but have no Skype/Steam access.

Given that each round is based on instalynch, I count activity by posts not votes. Hater is not in danger of modkill.

That said, vote reduction takes us down to 3 votes required AND WE FINALLY GET TO END THIS ROUND. Yay!

Book Two: Chaos
Chapter Two: The Sun Rises


Well, it USED to be a pretty normal day for Twilight. She and Spike had made their list of things to do for the day - including double and triple checking said list - and she was ready to start working through it when Spike coughed up a message from Celestia. It detailed a new threat to the Crystal Empire: Sombra had returned and enslaved it again, and the Crystal Heart, the main defense of the city, was missing.

A few short hours later, Twilight and her friends stood in Celestia's throne room as two guards nervously tried to tell Twilight that the princess was... missing. Luna had already left in search of her sister, and Cadance - who had escaped the Crystal Empire - was now in charge. Twilight instantly suspected Discord, as she did whenever anything remotely strange happened, and used her summoning spell to conjure him from wherever Celestia had hidden him away. The Draconequus seemed annoyed at being interrupted, but Twilight was mad.

"What have you done with Princess Celestia, Discord?" she asked in a harsh tone.
"Well my my, Twilight, is that any way to treat a friend?" Discord cheerfully retorted.

After a few minutes of banter, Twilight realized she wasn't getting anything useful from Discord and scolded herself for expecting something in the first place...

Well clearly Scept had a one-shot tough status. French is also claiming to be tough. I have doubts about multiple people being unkillable, barring some role relations.

Chapter Three: Mother Changeling


Chrysalis executed her plan perfectly. With Celestia out of the way, she was free to take the late Princess' form and infiltrate Canterlot once again. She entered the royal city to prestigious fanfare, and the royal guards couldn't tell the difference. Things went smoothly for a few hours as Chrysalis told Twilight and Luna her horrifying story of the evils Sombra had done to her in her two day's absence, all the while smiling at their ignorance. The facade, perfect as it was, however, was doomed to failure. Around lunch time, Twilight brought her friends in to see Celestia. Rarity trotted in and saw straight through Chrysalis' disguise. In the ensuing fight, both Rarity and Chrysalis fell to eachother's magic...

Wheee, shenanigans again. At least this time it sped things up instead of slowing them down. Vote reduction happened two hours ago and ended things with 3 votes.

Story and events to come shortly.

Wolves get safeclaim roles, though IIRC (at least that's how it was in the last game). So complete roleclaim might not solve anything.

However, the game seems to be coming to a close, so....

I'll bite.

I'm [redacted cause rolename claiming shit here, though it should be really obvious based on my powers], which means I get lots and lots of potions. I have a capacity for 5 potions at any given time.

Basically, potions have different colors and different effects.

I can use or taste (taste meaning I get to know what it does without consuming it) 2 potions every round. When a potion is consumed, it gets replaced by another potion.

Different colors give you information about what the potion does, for instance, when I used the green/fragrant one on myself I got a pm saying I was aligned with the village. >.> Brilliant, I know.



Fragrant = good effect
Foul = bad effect
Musty = something inbetween

So yeah.

PS, I didn't get many actions this round, so I'm gonna wait an hour or two to see if anyone else shows up.
