To be honest though, SEGA has been getting better at the whole listening to fans thing as I understand. Both Sonic being more appealing, and bringing Hatsune west, so don't despair yet!

Not precisely. Sonic is the only title they're good at marketing and Miku doesn't need commercializing, she's already ultra popular.

Sega meanwhile ignores Yakuza, Shenmue continuations, Valkyria Chronicles 3 localization, among a ton of other titles that show they have more potential Than Sonic ever will, just not using it.

But since SMT is fairly popular, maybe Sega will be merciful with this series given its already existent semi popularity.
