The official Host Queue and application thread

So you want to be a Mafia Host...
Good to know! Before you begin, please take your time to read the following incomplete, albeit still trustworthy guidelines if you want to be a Mafia Game Host

• Make sure you read the full rules and understand the concept of Mafia.
  
• You will need some experience before you can host. If you played in the previous forums, or have played at least 2 games here, you're good to go (unless you've screwed up big time).
  
• Our beloved panel of mods (that includes me) will check if you're worthy host material.
  
• Make sure to have a good, balanced ratio of Townies-to-Mafia. 1 Mafia for every 3 (or 4) Townies is what we mostly use.
  
• Remember to have good story-writing skills if you plan to have an in-depth story-filled Mafia like the good ol' days.
  
• Know when to punish players! Poor sportsmanship from both the players and the host are really frowned upon.
  
• Remember to keep a cool head on dire situations (like people bitching about your ruleset.
  
• If you're already in the host queue, be it as a host or co-host, you cannot sign up for another round until after that round has finished.
  
• Finally, Have Fun!
